One of the main virtues of glass is that as a material it is theoretically ‘infinitely recyclable’ and for many years now most of us have been taking our bottles and jars to be re-used.
The main problems with glass recycling relate mainly to the safe collection, transportation, storage and handling of (when broken) what becomes a reasonably dangerous material.
At Pink Environmental we offer specialist glass collect services all over Shropshire using dedicated glass collection vehicles which are specially adapted to collect and transfer all types of glass waste. At our Material Recycling Facility the glass is stored and sorted separately from other waste to avoid cross contamination and offer increased safety.
